Cargo at Gantley's
As Queenstown's oldest hospitality business, this historic stone building was built in 1865 by Patrick Gantley to provide food, drink and lodgings in the gold rush era.
Today, in summer Gantley's offers a large, grassy beer garden while in winter it's the perfect place to visit for apres-ski.
Open from 9.00am on Saturday and Sunday for coffee and brunch, Cargo at Gantley's offers roaring fires, fresh baking, great coffee and quite possibly the best breakfast in town.
Functions:
- The little Nook is the perfect area for a small gathering by the wood burner. Holding 18 guests seated and 20 standing it is ideal for work social functions, baby showers and just a place to catch up with friends.
- The Dining Room is the largest room with a high wooden beam ceiling, open fire and private entrance. A capacity of 50 guests seated or 60 standing it can be utilised for dinners, parties and conferences.
- The Breakfast Room offers a plethora of sunlight making it the perfect place for a group brunch or lunch for groups up to 30 seated or 40 standing. High wooden beam ceilings have been incorporated in to this space as well to give it a true Cargo at Gantley’s feel.
