Coronet Peak - Summer
Gondola:
Relax and enjoy a gondola ride upto 1649m. Enjoy world-famous views over the Wakatipu basin and back to the divide of the Southern Alps. It’s suitable for all and perfect for families or maybe even an iconic wedding photo.
Biking:
Grab your mountain bike and experience the natural terrain at Coronet Peak. Starting at the top of the Coronet Express, the trails are flowy and technical with breath-taking alpine views. The lift access gives you the extra vertical to ride from top to bottom starting with Upper Rude Rock, the Coronet DH or Coronet XC, through Hot Rod down to the valley floor. A range of passes are available with a day, sunset or season pass on offer.
Food:
Located in the base building, Dine at Café 1200 offers coffee or lunch with views. Choose from the all-day menu or freshly prepared cabinet food while soaking up the sun on the spacious deck. A range of local Central Otago wine and craft beer is available along with hot and cold drinks.
Disc Golf:
Play New Zealand’s highest disc golf course, combining a game with an alpine hike. Perched at the top of Coronet Peak, play your way down the mountain across the 9 hole course. Disc's are available to hire for $5.
