Siberia Experience: (Fly: 25mins - Walk: 3hrs - Jetboat: 30mins)

The Siberia Experience takes passengers on a thrilling 25-minute flight from Makarora, into the remote Siberia Valley past towering mountains, glaciers, and huge rainforests.

Once in the valley, guests will land and walk in the footsteps of New Zealand's early pioneers as they head along the valley to the crystal clear waters of the Siberia Stream and the walking track.  A three-hour bush walk offers the chance to experience the natural beauty of New Zealand including native trees, ferns and native birds, before finishing with an exhilarating 30-minute mountain river jet boat ride back to Makarora.

Blue Pools Experience: (Fly: 30mins - Walk: 2.5hrs - Jetboat: 1hr)

The Blue Pools Experience includes a 30-minute circular flight from Makarora past glaciers and mountains.  On returning to the airstrip, a short drive takes guests to the start of the two and a half hour walk to the beautiful Blue Pools.

The walk is relatively flat but includes the excitement of crossing four swing bridges as it winds past rivers, meanders through meadows and takes you in and out of the native forest. Spot fish and birdlife during your walk.  At the end of the track, a jet boat will be waiting to speed you off on a 1 hour scenic journey through the Makarora Valley to Lake Wanaka before returning guests to Makarora Village.

Both trips operate all year round, weather permitting. Advance booking is recommended.
