Urban Grind

Urban Grind is a modern and spacious cafe and bar, situated close to Lake Wanaka. The brick lined walls and large glass windows add to the sense of space and create a relaxing place to enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat.

During the warmer months of summer, the outdoor courtyard at the rear of the cafe is a great place to enjoy lunch, while the large open fire inside, is a welcoming sight during the winter months.

There is a brunch and dinner menu. The brunch menu includes eggs benedict, eye fillet steak sandwich, soup of the day and gourmet pizzas. During dinner service, the menu features Cardrona lamb shoulder, baked blue cod, salmon and blue cod fish pie, prime eye fillet and half a roasted duck. 

The upstairs Urban Grind Bar serves a selection local and New Zealand craft beers, a good selection of wines and $10 cocktails. Live music features on Friday evenings.

Function Hire:

Urban Grind Bar can be hired out for private functions, capable of hosting groups from 20 to 50 people, with the outdoor space and mezzanine area availble for larger groups.
