Wanaka’s most spectacular high-country walk. This is the Wanaka most locals have never seen. You are taken well off the beaten track exploring private backroads high into the mountains of West Wanaka Station. It's the perfect mixture of wide open walking trails, alpine meadows, jaw-dropping scenery, and high country farming life. You’ll enjoy helping out and learning about our predator control conservation project along the way too.
A relaxing picnic lunch awaits at the top Lookout Hill. If you don't feel like walking all day, there is 4WD support to enjoy the view and friendly banter with your guide.

Dingleburn Wilderness Walk
This is one of the most spectacular backroad journeys in New Zealand. Your expert guide will skillfully negotiate this incredible road blasted by hand into the sheer cliff face high above Lake Hawea. Arriving at remote Silver Island Bay, you will set off for a leisurely walk traversing the lower slopes Dingleburn Station towards the Dingleburn River where a relaxing riverside picnic lunch awaits.
