Luma Enchanted is a magical night forest walk through Kiwi Park, filled with interactive light displays and sculptures.

This Enchanted night-walk takes LUMA into a new realm of whimsical characters and unique kiwi storytelling brought to you by some of New Zealand’s finest entertainment producers. 

Projection artists, sculptors, model makers and renowned story tellers have gathered in the forest to make a special night-time experience.

LUMA Enchanted is all about experiencing nature in a new and exciting way – walk amongst this beautiful habitat whilst the residents are tucked up asleep in their nests.  

Keep your cameras at the ready for those unexpected interactions with some strange characters and woodland natives.

LUMA Enchanted is at the Kiwi Park just below Skyline Gondola.  It's a five minute walk from downtown and nestled in five acres of forest at the bottom of Bob’s Peak.

How long is the experience?

The experience typically lasts from 30–45 minutes to an hour, but there is enough detailed content to keep you engaged for up to two hours, depending on how much you wish to explore and engage.

Yes – the whole event is designed as a family-friendly activity to delight young and old.

Is there parking available?

We recommend using the Skyline Gondola carpark which is a 2 minute walk to Kiwi Park. Located directly behind the Skyline Gondola base terminal, the multi story carpark offers 297 public carparks, including spaces for motorcycles and bicycles, EV charging stations and accessible parking.

Do you take cash?

UMA Enchanted is card only for drinks, food, tickets and merch. No cash will be accepted.

Is there a gift shop?

There will be merchandise available for sale onsite.
