Situated centrally on Barry Avenue in Cromwell, Anderson Park covers 14.7 hectares, while the college playing fields add another 4 hectares.
The park was developed in the 1980's and includes a number of paths for walking and cycling.
Anderson Park features a college gym and auditorium which are open to the public, nine tennis courts, netball courts, a swimming pool, Cromwell Rugby Football Club and a number of sports playing fields.
The park is a big draw for young families. as Anderson Park also features Cromwell's main playground area. Children can enjoy swings, tunnels, play mounds, a flying fox and a seesaw with plenty of space to run about. Toilets are situated nearby as part of the swimming pool complex.
Close to the park and overlooking Lake Dunstan, is Old Cromwell, a historic attraction that features reconstructed buildings of the 1860's gold town of Cromwell. There's a selection of quaint cafes, galleries and gift shops to pick up reminders of a different era.
