Alan Waters has been producing unique, ground-breaking watercolours for most of his life.  Always daring, he is known for his bold use of colour (rare in watercolour painting), and his irreverent subject matter.  Alongside his beautiful depictions of wildlife, people and houses, are some surreal images, that really capture the eye and make the viewer think.

Always a popular artist, Waters' paintings are housed in numerous private collections around the world, especially his abstracts, but his art gallery, high above Bannockburn, is a must-visit destination for any art lover touring the region.  Alan is often in his studio here, and is always happy to mingle with visitors and chat about his work.
