Queenstown Skiing sees a longer ski season (June - October) than other resorts in New Zealand. The Remarkables and Coronet Peak are close by with slopes to suit all abilities. Further Out, Cardrona is a great resort for beginners and intermediates.
Over in Wanaka, Treble Cone has the largest ski area of all the resorts in the country. In between Wanaka and Queenstown is the boutique rsort of Snow Park NZ, ideal for freestylers and those looking for a variety of snow adventure activities. Dotted around Queensown and Wanaka are heaps of Ski and Snowboard rental shops. All the resorts also offer ski rentals and storage locker options. Shuttle buses to the resorts and ski passes can either be booked direct with the resorts or in any of the ski rental shops.
