Situated in a pre-1930's building on Queenstown Mall, Madame Woo offers diners fresh Asian cuisine with a chinese-malaysian influence.
The menu has been carefully created by New Zealand Michelin star chef Josh Emett, who is also behind Queensown's popular Rata Restaurant, and Malaysian-born Jane Leong, a protégé of Emett.
Dishes are based on Chinese and Malay style street food with a choice of sharing dishes and 'family favourites' of Hainanese Chicken Rice, Malaysian Beef Rendang and Nonya Chicken Curry. A banquet meal is available for four or more persons.
The restaurant does not take bookings unless it's for a group of over eight people.
