Flame Bar and Grill

Flame is a funky and buzzing steakhouse overlooking the lake. Geared towards carnivores, it's a perfect place to hang out and relax.

Using unique South African grilling methods, the menu is very much a meat-eater's paradise, although there is a still an ample selection of alternatives for vegetarians and seafood-lovers.  Specialities are the huge burgers (all with chips) and the steaks, everything from a petite fillet to a monster T-bone.  

Ribs are a high-priority on The Flame Bar and Grill's menu - the pork ribs are the signature dish.  The South African influence can be seen in dishes such as the boerewors, a delicious South African sausage with herbs and spices and the rattlesnake and peri-peri sauces.

With an extensive cocktail selection to choose from, and views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables Mountain range, Flame is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the magic of Queenstown.
