South Summit 'RUN IT BACK' New Zealand Tour

Queenstown

South Summit are soon to release their sophomore album, RUN IT BACK on June 12 and to celebrate, they have announced RUN IT BACK NZ TOUR.

Coming to Aotearoa this July and August the band will take on Queenstown hotspot Yonder on Thursday 30 July, The Loons, Lyttleton on Friday 31 July, San Fran, Wellington on Saturday 1 August and Auckland’s Double Whammy on Sunday 2 August.

Run It Back marks the band's second album, featuring stand out singles ‘TOP OF THE HILL’ and ‘ON THE DASH’ which have sent strong signals toward the confident evolution of their sound. The twelve-track record  represents a period of experimentation for the band; one where they found themselves pulled towards threads of funk, hip hop and R&B, while also driven by a desire to galvanise their signature blend of reggae and rock.

In 2024, they released their highly anticipated debut album The Bliss, a reggae-infused indie rock record that showcased both tight songwriting and a willingness to experiment across styles. It debuted at #2 on the ARIA Album Charts and propelled the band into a new tier, with heavy Triple J support, major festival slots and international touring, including appearances at Falls Festival, Groovin The Moo, SXSW Sydney, Vivid LIVE Debut at the Sydney Opera House plus a huge Australasian headline tour.

After a recent visit to Aotearoa to play at Six 60’s new Country & Roots Festival Sweet Home Aotearoa, South Summit now return to New Zealand for their third headline tour in the country. These four shows promise the bands’ renowned live charisma and classic fan favourites, whilst welcoming fans into a brand new era.
