Queenstown Hill Walk

A visual guide on what you'll see on the popular hill walk from the Queenstown town centre.

The Queenstown Hill Walk begins from Belfast Street close to the town centre.  The return walk should take around 3 hours to complete.  Although fairly steep in places, the walk provides sweeping views of Queenstown, the alpine scenery and Lake Wakatipu.

Along the walking track there are 6 information plates and illustrations about various time periods in Queenstown's history including the goldruch, Maori settlements and the development of the town into the premier adventure resort of New Zealand.
