Experience a full-day adventure combining jet boating and ‘Funyak’ inflatable canoes on the Dart River, located in the stunning Mount Aspiring National Park. Begin your day with a scenic transfer from Queenstown to Glenorchy, enjoying lakeside views and stories about Lake Wakatipu along one of the world’s most scenic drives. At the Dart River base, your friendly guides will provide all the gear you need. Start the journey with a thrilling 1-hour jet wilderness boat ride into the Te Waipounamu World Heritage Area. From there, paddle downstream in a Funyak, exploring calm waters, hidden streams, rock pools, and dramatic chasms. Stop for a tasty picnic lunch before continuing your journey downriver. End the day with a back-country bus tour through Paradise, filled with landscapes featured in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, before returning to Queenstown.
