The cutting-edge design of the clubhouse has floor-to-ceiling windows and is the recipient of an architectural award for its angular, modern aesthetic, a kind rarely seen on golf courses.

Impressive features of the 18 hole course include sculptures by New Zealand artists, waterways and wetlands.

The course opened in 2007 when it hosted the New Zealand Open and since then it has maintained its premier status by becoming the home of the NZ PGA Championship.
