The Glenorchy 9 Hole Golf Course is centrally located in Glenorchy, taking in the impressive views of the surrounding scenery that inspired many scenes from the Lord of the Rings films.
The quiet and tranquil setting provides a relaxing round of golf allowing time to enjoy the incredible setting. Situated at the recreation grounds on the corner of Oban and Mull streets, it's a low cost for a round of 9 or 18 holes which is paid through the 'honesty' collection box.
Golf clubs are available for hire at the Glenorchy Information Centre, while golf trolleys are free to use from the 'clubhouse'.
