Description

Choose to skydive from 9,000ft, 12,000ft or 15,000ft above New Zealand's awe-inspiring alpine scenery and record it all with a custom photo and video package. Start your adventure from Queenstown with a scenic drive along the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Glenorchy. Enjoy a small, personalized group with plenty of time to get to know each other, share the excitement, and enjoy the buzz at the drop zone. A friendly and professional team will prepare you for your exhilarating skydive experience. Once you're geared up, jump in the plane for the 15 to 20-minute scenic flight to altitude. At altitude, you'll be nudged towards the edge of the plane by your tandem master before leaping out. After 25 to 60-seconds of freefall, take in the spectacular scenery during your 5-minute flight under canopy as you float back down to the drop zone. The dropzone is located a few minutes south of the Glenorchy township, nestled at the edges of Fiordland National Park and Mt Aspiring National Park. A place huge with cultural and historical importance, Glenorchy is the gateway to the Te Wahipounamu World Heritage Area – the place of Greenstone.

Important Information

• All skydives are subject to favorable weather conditions. It is recommended to book for your first available day in Queenstown and keep an alternative day free so that you have maximum flexibility. If you can not re-arrange to another date, you'll receive a full refund
• Your skydive date and/or time may be different to the one requested. The local operator will confirm your exact flight time by email after booking
• All participants are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the dropzone
• Children 12 years and under will be permitted to skydive from a maximum height of 9,000 feet • All children are subject to assessment on the day by the Tandem master
• Those under 18 years require written parental consent • All passengers are weighed on the date of travel. Minimum weight is 30kilograms. Minimum height is 47.2 inches. Participants 95 kilograms and over will incur a weight surcharge of NZ$50-100. Payable on the day • All passengers must fit securely into the harness
