Depart Christchurch in the morning and board your deluxe coach. Journey through the lush farmland of Canterbury Plains before stopping in Lake Tekapo. See the famed Church of the Good Shepherd, as it sits in picturesque solitude on the shores of the lake, and admire its surrounding mountain views, including Aoraki/Mount Cook itself.  Continue your journey and to Mount Cook Village where you can enjoy a tasty lunch, walk one of the many short hiking trails, or visit the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre. If you are feeling adventurous, you might even like to take a scenic flight and see the natural landscape from above, which can be arranged on the day with your driver at an additional charge.  Traverse the Lindis Pass, the highest point in the highway system of the South Island, to Lake Dunstan and its nearby orchards. Visit the Jones Family Orchard where you can learn about fruits grown in the region and even sample some, fresh from nature. Arriving in Queenstown late afternoon, you will be transferred to your hotel and then will be free to explore the adventure capital of New Zealand at your leisure.
