Departing from Queenstown, travel in comfort along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and across southern farmland to Lake Te Anau, the South Island’s largest lake. After a morning tea stop (own expense), continue along the lake and into Fiordland National Park. Enter the picturesque Eglinton Valley, home to ancient alpine forests and cascading waterfalls, and one of the few glacier-carved valleys in New Zealand accessible by road.
