The journey begins at Wanaka Airport and passes through Te Wahipounamu, a UNESCO World Heritage area in South Westland. Fly across Lake Wanaka into Mt Aspiring National Park, cross the rugged Southern Alps, and explore Fiordland National Park from the air.
