Itinerary
- Queenstown: The tour begins in Queenstown with an introductory briefing from your guide including highlights of the region.
- Kawarau Suspension Bridge: Travel through Kawarau Gorge, passing the famed suspension bridge and Roaring Meg Lookout with photo opportunities.
- Cromwell: Enter the fruit and wine-growing area, cross Lake Dunstan, and head toward Lindis Pass.
- Lindis Pass: Stop at the alpine road lookout to capture views of tussock hills and sweeping valleys.
- Omarama: Break in the township of Omarama with the option to try local chicken pie.
- Lake Pukaki: Approach the vibrant blue lake framed by Aoraki/Mt Cook and southern Alps, ideal for photos and sightseeing. Lord of the Rings filming locations are pointed out.
