Description
The tour begins with a scenic drive along a narrow dirt road through Skippers Canyon to the rafting take-off point, offering views over the river. At the rafting base, guests are fitted with gear and receive a full safety briefing.
The rapids vary daily, guided by experienced instructors who lead you through canyons and rapid sections. The rafting starts at Deep Creek, moving from calm water toward the challenging rapids of the lower canyon. Rafters paddle through the Oxenbridge Tunnel and finish by negotiating Cascade Rapid. A hot shower is available at the rafting base before returning to Queenstown.

- Participants must be water confident, able to swim in fast-moving water, and follow guide instructions
- Not suitable for people under 13 years, under 88 pounds, over 260 pounds, those with heart conditions or on heart medication, or pregnant women
- Rafters under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian; those under 18 need guardian-signed waiver forms
