Description
After a brief safety briefing and hands-on training, you will drive a Yamaha Wolverine X4 4WD buggy through steep climbs, sharp corners, and creeks under the guidance of an experienced local guide. The trails lead to summit lookouts with panoramic views over Queenstown and the Shotover River canyon.
No previous off-road experience is required. The guide sets a pace suitable for all participants. Each buggy accommodates up to four people, with a maximum of two drivers per vehicle. Extra passengers beyond two drivers incur a surcharge. Groups larger than four receive additional buggies so no sharing with strangers is necessary.
The tour operates year-round. Full wet weather gear is provided when necessary, and safety equipment including helmets, eye protection, and gloves are included. Complimentary photos and return transfers from central Queenstown are part of the package.
