Arrow River（アローリバー）は、オタゴ地方議会によって1998年に作られた4.2kmの美しい平和な遊歩道です。この遊歩道は、オタゴ地方のヨーロッパ入植から150年を記念して作られました。近年では、この遊歩道はQueenstown Bike Trail（Queenstown Bike Trail）に統合されています。

遊歩道には、ウィロー、フウ、マツなどの木々が川沿いに生い茂り、川の上に架かる天蓋が涼しさを提供し、暑い夏の日には歓迎されます。遊歩道にはいくつかのベンチが配置されており、歩きながら休憩して静かな美しさを楽しむことができます。

Arrow Riverは、ある映画三部作にも登場します。クリアで緑の水面の川は、映画『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』の'Ford of Bruinen'のロケ地となりました。

ウォークを始めるには、Buckingham StreetのLakes District Museumの裏にあるRamshaw Laneに向かってください。スケートパークのすぐ後ろがスタート地点です。
