Kawarau Gorge Roadからすぐの場所に位置するローリング・メグ・パワーステーションの滝は、クイーンズタウンからクロムウェルへ向かう車で約40分（45km）の距離にあります。

クロムウェルに向かう途中、右側に小さな駐車場があります。駐車して進むと、パワーステーションの近くに到着し、右側にローリング・メグ・パワーステーションの標識があり、駐車場があります。

駐車場からは、カワラウ川の水の色とターコイズ色の水が見えます。滝は実際にはパワーステーションからの水流で形成されており、川はクロムウェル近くのダンスタン湖に流れ込んでいます。ここは休憩するのに最適な場所で、写真を撮ったりしてから旅を続けるのに良い場所です。
