セントラルオタゴファーマーズマーケットは、毎年11月の労働者の週末に始まり、2月末まで毎週日曜日に開催される季節限定のマーケットです。マーケットは午前9時から午後1時までオープンしています。

古いクロムウェルタウン歴史地区Old Cromwell Town Historic Precinctで開催され、ゴールドラッシュ時代に再現された歴史的建築物の中で、セントラルオタゴ地域の出店者が新鮮な農産物を販売しています。

ローカルで栽培されたフルーツを使用した手作りのジャムやチャツネは、アプリコットとクルミ、ネクタリンとジンジャーなど、インスパイアされた組み合わせの味が特徴です。メリノウールの切り身、地元のチーズ、鹿のサラミ、ハーブ、新鮮な花、冷凍魚、シラウオなど、さまざまな商品が販売されています。

ライブ音楽とコンパクトなマーケットエリアは、地元のアーティストや地域社会と出会い、楽しい雰囲気を楽しむための歓迎感あふれる場を作り出しています。

マーケットの後、訪問者はたくさんの果樹園を散策したり、町の周りに点在するブドウ園で数々の賞を受賞したワインを試飲したりすることができます。
